Past

Concerts, and music in general, have always been a huge part of my life. My cousin introduced my older brother and myself to hard rock very early on.

I can still remember watching Iron Maiden walking to the stage to The Ides of March in Live at The Rainbow.

My first real concert was the mighty AC/DC and thanks to my brother, I was in the front row almost the entire time. From then on I was hooked.

Future

When I bought my first DSLR, a used Canon 10D in 2005, my goal was to shoot concerts.

A friend of mine worked at a place where they had concerts regularly. The deal was that I could shoot the concert if I supplied their website with some of my photos.

When I'm shooting a concert, I try to capture the raw energy that is on display on stage.
